![]() Maybe it's the search terms I use, maybe it's just Google, but I did a search and don't really see any articles that say "this is how you make money online with your Google PageRank". Although if you even know what a Pagerank(PR) is, you probably already know how you can earn money from it. But I'll just explain a few ways for those of you who don't know. To have a Google PageRank, you obviously need to have a site. If you own a site that's at least 3 to 6 months old, chances are you probably have a PR and don't even know it! If you want to do a quick check, you can see at DomainPageRank.com. I use a neat little SEO Firefox addon called SearchStatus. It automatically displays the PR, Alexa rank and much more on each site you visit. What Is a PageRank?PageRank is simply a number that represents how important a page(not entire website) is on the internet. It ranges from 1 to 10 (10 being a very valuable and important page). For example, CashJuke.com is a PR2. MySpace.com is a PR8. Although this site is only 3 months old. Google is the inventor of the PageRank. In fact, the word is a trademark of Google. The PR of a webpage is determined by the incoming links coming into the page. The more sites that link to the page, then the more important that page looks to Google. This can determine how high you will rank in the Google Search results, and you can make money from your PR by selling links. For example, lets say that MySpace.com wants a higher PR and more backlinks which help them rank higher in search results when someone searches Google (like they really need it). Then MySpace could purchase a spot on your site for lets say, $10 a month. You put their link on your site and they will pay you. Think of incoming links to your site as a voting system, more links means more votes for the site. How Can I Get a PageRank? You can get a PR by building lots of quality (and relevant!) backlinks to your website or blog. also, the more established domains will have a chance at getting a better PR rather than a new domain. spammy backlinks can hurt your site and not help it. Here are just a few sites where you can sell some spots on your webspace to webmasters looking for backlinks to their site. This is how you make money from having a good PR or even any PR period. But watch out, if Google finds out you're selling text link ads, your site will be penalized just like John Chow. Text-Link-Ads TNX.net - This is a site that launched sometime middle-late last year. They go by a points system. TNX.net contacted me not long ago about doing a review about them. I'll have their full review up as soon as my site is approved so I can check them out further, They're doing some mad marketing and I'm hearing great things. Review Me DigitalPoint Forums - DP is not encouraging link sales but they do have a section for it to keep them out of other boards. There's lots of people over there selling and buying links and website reviews. These are just few of many places to buy and sell links. I don't think you need too many sources. And I can't really think of any other great places worth mentioning. If you know some other good spots, feel free to mention them. |

Not only that, you can't sell any damn links if you aint got no PR! And NO ONE will want to exchange links with you either. I've been in that position before. People want to exchange with sites with a PR.
Going out to all those guys that say PR doesn't matter. C'mon!
