A.W. Surveys Scam

In this article, I'd like to discuss A.W. Surveys and tell you my experience with this survey site.
First of all, the site was quite nice as it has 7 good paying welcome surveys that pay from $4 to $6 for each quick website evaluation(they wasn't actually surveys). So once you complete those 7 website evaluations(surveys) then you have a quick $26! That was easy huh? Oh and they also give you $1.25 for each referral you send over to their site be scammed with you.

A.W. Surveys will only let you cash out once you have at least $75 in your account. Guess what? They don't send you anymore surveys. You made $26 from them and the rest of the money you make must come from referring people. If you Google aw surveys scam, you will find many posts from upset ex-members that were burned by the site. The weird thing is that A.W. Surveys has a very good traffic rank. How they manage to keep getting members to the site is beyond me.

So is A.W. Surveys a scam or not? Well they are notorious for cancelling poor innocent members accounts once they get close to their cashout point. They cancel it without warning and you may get a response saying that they suspected "fraud" or something along those lines. Surprisingly, they have paid a few members but it seems that they may be doing this only to keep people coming to the site. So lets say 3 out of 10 members get paid - Those 3 members are going to keep referring people plus A.W. Surveys made money from the other 7 people without having to pay them. My suggestion: Stay away!

Yep, I agree..stay away. I was excited to make an easy 28 bucks right away, but I haven't heard from them since. No more surveys to do. So to reach 75 I would have to refer ALOT of people and then HOPE to get paid. I think they should be reported as fraud!

Maybe you did get paid Jack. But the fact is that aw surveys has cancelled many many accounts for no reason. It's scammed more people than it has paid. This is a site that you don't even want to take a chance at trying because the chances of it being a complete waste of time are very high.

Just look at all the people that didn't get paid!

AW surveys tells you up front that they review what you have submitted. If you put some garbage writing as your review then of course your not going to be paid. It would make sense that they cancel your account after that. Maybe it is a scam but if theres a chance that I will be paid, I'm going for it.

You might get paid but chances are slim. The thing is - You can't help what your referrals do, and if they do any fraudulent activity then you won't get paid. How do you think all of your referrals will feel about you if you sent them to a site that never paid up?

Some people have been paid. You can do more than just pout if your account has been canceled for no reason. You can and should write them an email telling them what you will do if they do not reinstate your account or pay you what they o you.

That's the thing, Jake. People have emailed them when their accounts are cancelled or they don't recieve their payments.

I don't see why you're wasting your time spamming your referral link for A.W. Surveys when you could be making money elsewhere.

But of course it's up to you. When they don't pay you, feel free to come and whine about it here. :]

ok. I don't whine I take action. If you can give me the name of a site that is as simple and easy as aw surveys, thats something I would look into. I've tried so many websites that have let me down and aw surveys has not done that yet. The guy named jack got paid so why it's so impossible for me to get paid I don't really know.

"a site as simple and as easy as aw surveys" - It's called affiliate networks.. Join one and you'll have many sites to promote and get paid for doing so. Sites that actually don't have a VERY BAD reputation for being a scam. All you're doing is referring people. It's an affiliate program man.

aw surveys takes a $25 fee once you reach $75. That's IF they pay you and don't cancel your account. :-)

aw surveys also pays what..$1.25 per referral? There's plenty of campaigns on networks that pay that and much more. The choice is yours man

why didn't you say that in the first place. would you please refer me to a website that pays more than aw surveys. theres so mannnnnnny sites that say they pay well. I just want to know about one that actually does. 8)

Wow. I can barely get the minimum payout. I don't know. I am so close. If they do that to me, I will be as anti aw surveys as you could possibly be. People have been paid so If I can be paid at least once, I would be happy.

ok here it is. you guys get denied because ou guys do fake referals. i tried it once and i got mine denied. next thing i did was told all my friends to refer me. and you know wat, i couldnt believe i got my money. now if all of you guys keep complaining about these its probably you guys think that aw surveys are very stupid enough to think that you can trick em with fake referrals, so if u want real mone, make real 1s!

This isn't a scam. A.W. Surveys will send surveys gradually. You just have to wait for your next survey or refer to friends. I got $52 from surveys and refering to friends. So just wait for more surveys to come.

Hmmmm… I'm also agree.. just like an google adsense.. the tricks of google when your earnings is going near of cashout point they disabled or cancel your account.. they tricked us. that's st*pd!

@Jake: instead of searching for sites that are paying u money, learn html, css and MAKE webpages. That will pay u a lot more than these good-for-nothin' sites.

ha! to all the non believers out there. I got my check for 75 dollars. oh yeah. to squito, I have lost a lot of interest in paid surveys. Although, some websites pay you to write reviews and other such stuff. I hope that turns out good. Anybody know if it will?

Well Jake consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
I've been a member for over a year and I used to stick up for AW surveys because I heard a few got paid but guess what? I finally almost reached payout and I definitely gave legit referrals and signed in monthly to look for surveys.
Well all the sudden for no reason and no explanation, my account has been canceled!!
I wouldn't of believed it if it didn't just happen to me.
I emailed them but so far no reply but we'll see.

@ Jake, well I signed up a few days ago for awsurvey and I am planning to cancel my account because I found many people saying that it is a BIG SCAM, if you can show a proof of the payment that you have recieved I will not cancel my account, ok??
