How To Start Your Own GPT Site - Complete Guide

E-mail
Thursday, 28 February 2008

It seems that these days everyone and their momma wants to start their own GPT money making site. I was discussing this the other night with someone and I feel that eventually, all of the old GPT members will all have their own GPT site and there will be no one to sign up because of this! Imagine the fresh new site that took days to build, and then the clueless look on the new owners face wondering why he/she can't get new members. But nevermind that, I'll show you the steps to start your very own GPT site :)

Planning

If you're going to start a GPT site, please plan on this. Don't just decide over night and jump into this. I think I speak for many people when I say I'm very tired of seeing the one week GPT's resurecting out of nowhere and not going anywhere. GPT sites take work and dedication. If you decide to start one, plan big or don't plan at all. Otherwise, you're not going to go anywhere with it.

Think Of a Snappy Domain Name

A catchy website name is easy to remember and lets you stand out. Make sure the name is easy to spell, short as possible, no hyphens - and is a .com. The domain you choose will be what your site is known as. So whatever you choose, be careful. There are some GPT site names out there that are just TERRIBLE. fairytaletreasures, dealbarbiepays and thedragonsgold are just a few to name that's terrible GPT names. (sorry guys)

Get a Script

Shiftcode seems to be the most popular GPT script because the price I suppose. Although I'm tired of seeing Shiftcode based sites, it's probably the easiest to setup and cheapest. Bare in mind that some affiliate networks won't except your incentive(GPT) site if you're using a script that can just be downloaded. Some require that it be custom. Shiftcode bundles your hosting with them as well. So don't go purchase seperate hosting if you use them. And people please, if you use Shiftcode, do not let them design your site. Make it look different, clean and just good.

Get a Clean Design

Like I said, don't let shiftcode design your site. I suggest you go to forums.digitalpoint.com to find a good individual designer to design your site. Also, don't make it lame and corny. GPT sites feel that they need to base their site on corny stuff such as fairy's, dragons, monsters, 4-leaf clover guy and crates of cash.

Start Adding Offers

So you have your GPT site. Now you need offers because that's where the money comes from. You're going to need to apply with various affiliate networks to get a good amount of offers for your members. I recommend you have some email/zip submits, a couple daily surveys and of course the free trials, freebies and credit card offers. Here are a few networks to get started with -

  • Net 15 (Pays 15 days after end of month)

    - RocketProfit.com
    - PantheraNetwork.com
    - AdReporting.com

  • Net 30

    - Copeac.com
    - BountyCPA.com
    - CommissionJunction.com
    - Affiliateer.com
    - CommissionXChange.com
    - InstantDollarz.com
    - PremiereIncentive.com
    - CoProsper.com
    - CPAStorm.com
    - TrafficVenueDirect.com
    - LeadGains.com

  • That's enough to get your new GPT site started. Now let's look at a few things you have to look forward to when running your site. Oh these are the fun parts.
Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be satisfied or pleased with your site. Not all offers approve immediately and some offers never approve at all. That's just how it works! You'll have annayances bugging you, sending hate mail and even slandering your site. I once had a guy contact me via my old GPT review site telling me about a problem he was having being paid by a site(I had nothing to do with the site he had problems with). He was basically in tears and really wanted that money. He began commenting on other blogs giving negative comments and was doing all he could to hurt it. You're also going to have to deal with frauders and cheaters. I've seen GPT sites have to pack up and sell out because of the abuse.

So now you have the info on starting your own GPT site. There's probably thousands of GPT sites out there but only a few are rememberable. So make it good or don't make it at all! Oh yeah, don't forget to pay your members.

    Get Paid $50 Per Referral

    (U.S. and Canada residents only)

I didn't know if this should go in the freebie section or the money making section. But seeing as in how money is better than an iPod Touch (imo), General Money Making is where we landed :P

YouriPodTouch4Free(ref link) is a "freebie site" I had started on a few months back but didn't complete. I completed my offer requirements but never referred anyone. So I'm bringing it back to see if I can't get this thing completed and withdraw my $350 cash(7 referrals) 7 referrals isn't bad at all for $350.
Here's the details on this site if you don't know what it is or how it works. If you do know how it works, then go ahead and skip down to the prizes and requirements.

    How it Works

Once you sign up, you'll be faced with some offers to complete(ie: Blockbuster, Build-a-Bear, etc) Certain offers give you so many credits. How many credits you need will depend on what prize you want. So you complete your offer(s), refer the required amount of friends to do the same thing, then you get your gift. It's called multi level marketing. See the tips page to make sure you get your offers to credit. Tips include clearing your cookies, etc.

    Your Reward

  • $350 Cash - 7 referrals
  • 32gb iPod Touch - 10 referrals
  • $350 Apple Card - 7 referrals
  • 16gb iPod Touch - 8 referrals
  • 8gb iPod Touch - 5 referrals

  • This is a win-win situation. The companies get their sign ups, the freebie site gets their money from the company, and you(we) get our cash/reward. sign up if interested.

    Making Money With Doba

    E-mail
    Monday, 18 February 2008

First things first, Doba is a dropshipping company that is endorsed by Ebay. These companies work by supplying you with a variety of things to sell on eBay at wholesale price from wholesale suppliers. But the good part about dropshipping is that you don't pay for the items until you have sold them. So you pick what you want to sell from their online catalog-->sell it-->get your money-->pay Doba for the original amount-->then keep your own cut. Doba ships those items to your buyer as well, so you don't have to deal with that.

Doba has over 1,000,000 products that you can choose from. That's a huge variety of merchandise! And no it is not cheap merchandise such as packages of pencils. It's brand names like Cuisinart, Nautica, DKNY, Apple, Adidas, Adobe and plenty more items that would get scooped up from eBay quickly.

Doba offers you a 7 day free trial with all access to their site. You sign up using your credit card but your card is not charged unless you choose to keep your membership after the 7 day free trial is up. The regular membership plans range from $29.95 to $59.80 a month. $29.95 is the basic plan(that's all I used and works for me). Now once you're signed into your new Doba account, you should see that the navigation is exceptionally simple. You'll also find that Doba hands you an amount of tutorials and useful tools to help you as they understand the hard roads to making money with your business.

To sum this up with my own personal experience, Doba is a great way to make money online but is not your magic tool to become "rich". With a 7 day free trial there is really nothing to lose. Becoming successful online has to come from you doing a multitude of things. Doba should actually be one of them. You can sign up to Doba here.

GetAFreeAppleiPhone - Free Cash & Big Contests

    E-mail

    Sponsored Post:

The name GetAFreeAppleiPhone.com could mislead you into thinking this is just a site giving away iPhones. Although true, but at the same time you have the choice to take cash rather than recieve the popular Apple iPhone™ as well as other rewards. But yes, this is a full-fledged trusted paying GPT site that has been open since June of 2007.

So that you know you aren't wasting your time, you might want to head over and check out their payment proof section if you aren't familiar with the site.

GetAFreeAppleiPhone is currently running what they call their biggest contest yet! Whoever completes the most offers on the site will be the winner. It is early so the competition is most likely nonexistant as of right now, which means it's a good time to get in on this. Here are the details on this latest contest -

1st Place: Mini Motorcycle, max speed 47+ MPH!
2nd Place: Garmin Nuvi GPS Unit or $150
3rd Place: Apple iPod Nano 8GB or $125

As you can see, there are big prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Whoever places 4th and 5th, they will win cash and point prizes(points are redeemed for rewards). Here are a couple of the rules and more details straight from the site -

#1 If you do not like the prize you won, you can request a lesser prize + the difference in cash. For example, if you win the mini motorcycle and you want the ipod, you will receive the ipod and the cash difference (cash difference is decided upon by us).

#2 If you do not want the prize you win, you can choose to receive the cash equivalent instead (applies to 2nd place prize and 3rd place prize).

As I said above, the time to get in on the contest is right now if you want to get a head-start at winning 1st place. If the contest doesn't interest you, I still recommend this great GPT as a great money maker. It offers a $2 sign up bonus and you recieve 10% of your referrals earnings. Sign up to GetAFreeAppleiPhone.com.

    QuickRewards Review

    E-mail
    Monday, 18 February 2008

A couple months ago I recieved an email from a staff(or administrator) of QuickRewards.net asking me to please review the site. Sorry to say that I'm just now getting to it but better late than never. So here's what's up with this paying GPT site and what it has to offer.

QuickRewards is a GPT site much different from paying sites you're used to, especially the "scenery" and navigation. The site has been around since 2002 - 8 years! After filling out my info to sign up, I caught a small annoyance though. I confirmed my information to be redirected to the homepage but it kept flickering and wouldn't redirect! A one time thing but a simple click on "earn cash" stops that. Now it's time to earn some cash and check out each section they have.

Each section on the "earn cash" page is split up: So you get paid for completing offers, clicks, daily surveys, targetted surveys, trivia, paid emails and shop. Also, they pay you for participating in various polls and for printing coupons. They run monthly contest as well. So monthly earnings can come out quite well with all these ways to earn. So how well do offers approve? They use a custom script(not shitcode) and I found that offers approve really well. All around, I give this site a thumbs up. Sign up here.

Update: I've noticed that QuickRewards will send daily emails to your inbox. If you don't want the daily emails, just sign into your account, click my account->email settings and select Do Not Send as an option.
